Meet Our Founders

Kelly and Josh Aaron are the dynamic duo behind Blueprint Lighting - partners in business and in life. Since founding the company in 2016, they've combined their complementary talents to reimagine what handcrafted modern lighting can be.

Kelly, our CEO and Head of Sales, brings over two decades of entrepreneurial spirit, artistic expertise, and an unwavering eye for design to the helm. With a background in curating museum exhibitions and brokering rare pieces through high-end auction houses, she channels a lifelong love of art and craftsmanship into every fixture we create. Her reputation for quality, customization, and design innovation has made Blueprint Lighting a go-to resource in the interior design world.

Josh, our Creative Director, is the larger-than-life visionary who adds soul and spark to the studio. With his infectious humor and boundless curiosity, he brings a playful energy to the design process, dreaming up fixtures that don't just illuminate a room, but transform it. Whether sketching in the studio or riffing on new materials with our team, Josh's creative instincts are at the heart of our most iconic pieces.

Together, Kelly and Josh lead with imagination, integrity, and a shared passion for making artful design accessible. When they're not managing Blueprint's day-to-day, you'll find them immersed in music, theater (Kelly serves on the board of NYC's The New Group), home-cooked meals, and adventures with their two kids.

VP of Operations

Orlando Marin

With over a decade of executive management experience in AdTech engineering, Orlando made the move to manufacturing in 2025 as VP of Operations of Blueprint. With a passion for order and efficiency, his oversight keeps both projects and people on task in every corner of the company.

Client Experience Specialist

Christopher Cheong

Christopher brings a background in luxury client experience, design-driven retail, and showroom operations to Blueprint. With experience spanning collectible design, fragrance, and product coordination, he enjoys building thoughtful client relationships while keeping projects and communication organized behind the scenes. His longtime interest in modernist design, decorative arts, and materiality naturally led him to the world of interiors and lighting. Outside of work, Christopher enjoys fitness, cooking, exploring galleries, and discovering new knitting patterns.

Treg Hudson

With over a decade of experience in sales and client relations and a lifelong love of all things creative, Treg has found a home in the world of interior design and loves the challenges that ever-changing landscape presents. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, playing the piano, and a well-made martini.

Sami Rettig

With a blend of artistic flair and technical expertise, Sami creates lighting marvels, proving that greatness knows no bounds (even when you're 5' 1 ¼"). With a strong foundation in design principles, Sami brings a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to Blueprint. Her attention to detail and passion for pushing the envelope ensure that each new lighting creation is one to be remembered.
