The Grand Calyx ceiling fixture is the larger-scaled iteration of our best-selling Calyx ceiling fixture. Conceptualized by Chief Luminary Kelly Aaron, this fixture is perfect for enhancing the atmosphere over a long dining table, bar, or kitchen island. Kelly Aaron was deeply inspired by Lucienne Day's textile designs. Fueled by her admiration for Day's work, Aaron envisioned the Calyx fixture to capture the essence of Day's iconic 'Calyx' fabric, which received the gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1951. Aaron's creative vision was to bring Day's style to life in three dimensions, infusing the fixture with the same optimism and energy found in the fabric design.
Fixture as shown has eight (8) E12 sockets (candelabra socket). Dimmable. We recommend G16 (small globe shape) bulbs in incandescent or LED with 60 watt equivalent. UL Listed. CAD file available on request. All shades are on pivoting joints to allow for positioning of light. Mounts to ceiling with two (2) drops rods and ceiling canopies, with wiring come out of only one of the rods.
