Designed By Sam Rettig
Our Lead Designer, Sam, works from what she calls a "napkin sketch mentality," starting with loose, intuitive drawings that become the foundation for every design.
From there, she builds 3D-modeled concepts, testing proportion and presence until she finds the form that feels right. Function always matters, but form leads the way; to Sam, each fixture is "art with a purpose."
Drawing on the Bauhaus and Memphis movements, as well as the creative partnership of Ray and Charles Eames, Sam is pulled toward contrast—precision and playfulness, structure and spontaneity—shaping lighting that feels both expressive and enduring.
